About
Hey there! I’m Gabby Machynkova, and I am a qualified and fully insured Canine Trainer & Behaviourist working in North Wales.
I grew up surrounded by the gorgeous scenery of the Czech Republic. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, which got me hooked on dog training and the joy of having canine buddies. From an early age, I was all about walking and training dogs for fun, both my own and others’.
When I was younger, I joined the ZVV club with my awesome schnauzer. That’s where I really kicked my skills in obedience and scent work into gear. Competing at the club level as a junior was such a rewarding experience; it not only helped me understand dog behavior better but also let me form great friendships with other trainers and their dogs.
But then life threw me a curveball when I moved away from home, and I had to step back from dog training for a bit. Even so, my love for dogs never really went away. In 2019 I jumped back into the game with my new dog in the IGP (Internationale Gebrauchshunde Prüfungsordnung) sport, which reignited that spark for dog training in me. This return was like opening a new chapter in my life where I could dive deeper into what I love.
To up my game even more, I went ahead and qualified as Canine Trainer & Behaviourist from the British College of Canine Studies with an outstanding distinction in Advanced Level 4 Canine Behaviour, all BCCS courses are accredited and approved by Pet Education, Training and Behaviour Council.

This not only boosted my understanding of how dogs think but also gave me solid tools to train them effectively and kindly. My journey in dog training is ever-evolving, and I’m super excited to share what I’ve learned with fellow dog lovers out there!
My qualification can be validated by following at: britishcollegeofcaninestudies.com/student-services-business-directory.
I strongly advice everyone to check a Trainer/Behaviourists credentials before booking as the industry is unregulated and many advertise as Trainers and/or Behaviourists without any qualification.
Training Method
I treat each dog as an individual and I don’t limit myself “ to use or not to use ”any training tool or to one particular quadrant of operant conditioning. The goal is a clear communication with your dog and consistency. Clear and consistent communication is crucial for successful dog training.
